What are Soap Flakes?

Soap Flakes are pure soap in a flake form. Shaped like tiny flat diamonds, Soap Flakes are made from a 100% vegetable base of palm and coconut oils. They contain no bleaches, phosphates, enzymes, or perfumes. An innovation in the early 1900's, Soap Flakes continue to work well today.

Soap Flakes are completely biodegradable, and have never been tested on animals. Soap Flakes are perfect for washing delicate fabrics, chiffons, cottons, silks, woolens, and specially treated microfiber fabrics such as waterproof sports and outdoor clothing.

Q: What amount of Soap Flakes should I use?
A: It helps to remember that Soap Flakes mixed with water are "soap and water", a pretty basic mixture that is very safe to use in almost any cleaning situation you might imagine. When your soap and water mixture looks and feels soapy enough for you, you are using the correct amount of Soap Flakes! Like most cleaning and laundry products, soap is consumed during use. Heavily soiled items require a bit more soap. Lightly soiled items require less soap. With very little water, Soap Flakes can be whipped into a lather, with more water, a soap and water mixture can be made as mild as you like.
